Kitchen Extraction Canopies
Our canopies and air control systems are manufactured using 304 grade stainless steel and contain a full-length filter housing with baffle type grease filters. Joints and corners are welded and polished, raw edges folded and flattened, giving a smooth finish. When the canopy is manufactured in sections, the jointing pieces fixed together have channel shaped capping pieces to hide all fixings and internally folded edges. All canopies are sealed to form a grease tight unit and are manufactured in accordance with the industry DW172 specification.
Types of canopies include:
- Island canopies
- Wall mounted canopies
- Radius fronted wall canopies
Air Control Systems
We also manufacture canopies that include replacement air control systems with supply air chambers designed to suit your installation. Our most common grill is a double deflection model which includes a damper system for balancing the air. We can also manufacture small condenser canopies (mechanical or non-mechanical) for kitchen areas producing steam.
Fans & Ductwork
Following a site survey, our ductwork systems are made to measure and manufactured in accordance with the DW144 industry specification. Fans are selected in accordance with the DW172 specification using a thermal convection or face velocity method. Our ductwork systems can also be designed to meet specification requirements of local councils where noise and pollution are an underlying factor. This can include the use of silencers and carbon filtration.
Canopy Lighting
We have a range of lighting options available to suit your individual requirements. Our lighting is heat resistant, greaseproof and designed to give 500 lux of illumination. All lights will have a tail of wiring to enable final connection.
Grease Filters
Our ventilation canopies can be manufactured in different sizes to suit your design. There are collection trays and a gutter along the underside of the filter housing to collect grease caught by the baffle filters.
Wall Cladding & Infills
Our wall cladding is made to measure, manufactured using 304 stainless steel and can be used for canopies or as a finish on a room. The sheets are usually edged and flattened, then overlapped when attached to the wall. If you prefer, joint pieces and edging strips are available as an alternative. We can also supply and manufacture infill panels where needed, also made to measure.
